The key performance indicators in secondary schools relate to the progress students have made from their starting points at Key Stage 2 (Progress 8), the attainment across a range of subjects (referred to as Attainment 8) and the attainment of students in both English and Mathematics at grades 4 and 5.
Changes to GCSEs which have come into place over recent years make comparisons difficult over longer periods of time.
