Special Educational Needs and Disability

Students with special education needs and disability (SEND) are supported throughout their time at the Academy.

Early discussions with primary schools and parents allows us to prepare fully for year 6 students joining us and put in place the relevant strategies to ensure success. Teachers work collaboratively with our SEND team to put in place in-lesson provision and for smaller intervention approaches we have our new SEND Hub. This provides a place for mentoring, subject support, reading interventions and social integration work to take place. Full details of our local offer, our approaches and useful contacts can be found in our SEND Information Report.

The Suffolk offer can be found here.
