Celebrating student GCSE achievements

Our students are celebrating today after receiving their GCSE results, as they get ready to take their next steps in their education journey.

Staff and students have come together to mark the achievements of all the students, who have worked exceptionally hard over the past couple of years to secure these grades.

Alongside the continued progress of the academy, which is sponsored by Ormiston Academies Trust, some particular individual highlights include:

• Daria Bibik who achieved 12 GCSE passes, including five at grade 9 – a phenomenal achievement.
• Yara Yaba who was awarded 11 GCSE passes, including 3 at the highest grade.
• Freddie Foreman who, along with passing 8 GCSEs with some top grades, secured the top grade of Distinction Star in two applied courses.
